CASULO,
MOBILE HYBRID UNIT

What makes us belong to a city, feel at home, be happy? In order to improve the living conditions of the homeless and respond to a temporary situation, a mobile shelter is proposed, where they can stay overnight and transport things. The cocoon idea emerges as protection and metamorphic space of transition to a better situation. Casulo is a mobile hybrid unit, built with reused parts and materials, namely a shopping cart, a wooden base articulated with metal supports, and a canvas structured with rods from old umbrellas that become a shelter.
