PALMARATO is an architecture and design studio that has been establishing a multidisciplinary practice, focusing on the quality of architecture and design and the sustainability of materials and construction. The studio develops projects with different programs and various scales, such as housing, commerce and equipment, within the scope of renovation of spaces, rehabilitation of buildings and new built. Provides technical consultancy, design, coordinates providers/suppliers and provides technical assistance to the site.

 

Duarte Palma Rato graduated in Architecture from Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa in 1999 and in 2003, he specialized in Bioclimatic Architecture at Faculdade de Architectura UTL. Since then he has collaborated with architecture studios in Lisbon, Barcelona and Paris. In addition, he has developed design projects, architectural installations, scenography and taught at Escola Profissional de Artes e Ofícios do Espetáculo. In 2014, he established himself as independent architect in Lisbon.
